You\u0027ll also get to practice one\u002Don\u002Done with the UCF Climbing Tower staff.\u003Cspan\u003E\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003C/span\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EPlease wear comfortable athletic clothing. Long athletic pants are recommended but not required. You\u0027ll be required to climb during the class. The test includes questions about the information covered in class and a skills test.\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003EYou must demonstrate all technical aspects of the UCF Climbing Tower belay procedure correctly to pass. If you don\u0027t pass the first time, you\u0027ll be required to retake the test before becoming certified.\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003E3. \u003Cstrong\u003EComplete\u0026nbsp\u003Bfive\u0026nbsp\u003Bbelay check\u002Doffs\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003EOnce you\u0027ve completed the class and passed the test, you\u0027ll need to complete\u003Cspan\u003E\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003C/span\u003Efive\u0026nbsp\u003Bbelay check\u002Doffs at the UCF Climbing Tower during normal operating hours. Be sure to bring it with you whenever you visit the Climbing Tower!\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EHow To Register for a Belay Class:\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003ERegister for a belay class at the Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC) Climbing Tower front desk during normal business hours. Students can take the stairs or elevators to the first floor, then go left. The desk is behind the stairs in the northeast corner of the main building.\u003C/span\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003ERegistration opens two weeks before each class, and participants must register\u0026nbsp\u003Bat least 48 hours in advance. Space is limited to eight people per class.\u003C/span\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EBelay classes are free for current UCF students and RWC members with an active membership. \u003C/span\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003ENeed to cancel your registration?\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003Cstrong\u003EYou must cancel at least 48 hours before the class to avoid a $30.00 forfeiture fee.
