en-US Dean Paul Jarley, the man who puts the Dean in the Dean's Speaker Series, will kick off the first session of the fall semester Tuesday, Sept. 8, with a discussion about Managing with the Intelligent Machine. Join us at 11:30 a.m., at the Citrus Club in Downtown Orlando, for a conversation about what may be the most important leadership challenge created by artificial intelligence. 

Much of the discussion around AI focuses on what jobs intelligent machines will replace. Dean Jarley takes a different view. Drawing on two centuries of organizational evolution, he argues that the most important challenge posed by AI is not technological but institutional. As intelligent machines transform the nature of work, organizations face a fundamental question: How will they develop the judgment, leadership and human capability needed to thrive in the future?
