en-US Field of Memories is a suicide awareness and prevention event.

A total of 1,100 yellow flags will be placed in the field between John C. Hitt Library and the Reflecting Pond, representing the approximately 1,100 college students who die by suicide each year. Stop by to write a message of hope, add a flag to the field and get information about campus resources dedicated to supporting student well-being.

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among college students and can be prevented.
