Focusing on murals across the city, it asks who is represented, who remains absent, and which aspects of colonial history are made visible\u0026mdash\u003Bor left unrepresented\u0026mdash\u003Bon Lisbon\u0027s walls. At the same time, it questions what mural art can do as a form of intervention in public space: who has the authority to inscribe histories on the city\u0027s walls, and what possibilities for recognition, contestation, or repair might this create? By attending to both representation and absence, the talk considers how the reparative potential of urban visual culture can be enabled, constrained, or lost.\u003C/p\u003E",
