The University of Central Florida\u0027s connection to the space industry dates to its founding as Florida Technological University in 1963, when it was established to support Florida\u0026rsquo\u003Bs growing aerospace and defense workforce. Through photographs, ephemera, memorabilia, technical publications, and other unique materials, the exhibition documents key milestones in space exploration while illustrating its lasting influence on science, technology, education, and popular culture. These materials help preserve the stories, achievements, and experiences of the people and organizations that shaped the American space race.\u003C/p\u003E",
