The Central Florida Bassoon Reed Lab was designed for middle and high school bassoon students and educators in our community. From forming and shaping cane to finishing their reeds, students work closely with individual clinicians to develop and improve their reed-making skills. The lab concludes with a bassoon ensemble performance, providing students with an opportunity to strengthen their musicianship, ensemble skills, and collaborative playing.
\u000A
Reed-making tools and cane will be generously provided by our sponsors for each lab, and students will have the opportunity to use these materials.
