UCF Alumni: Palm Beach Turtle Walk

Friday, July 7, 2017 7:30 p.m. to Saturday, July 8

It's that time of year again. Join us for our annual AlumKnight Out with endangered sea turtles!

Turtle Walks are a unique program that allow UCF alumni to learn about and observe the nesting and egg-laying process of endangered loggerhead sea turtles.

Experienced Loggerhead Marinelife Center scouts will patrol a designated section of Juno Beach searching for sea turtles while we participate in informative presentations by Kate Mansfield, PhD, director of the UCF Marine Turtle Research Group and Loggerhead Marinelife Center staff. We'll also enjoy complimentary gourmet food courtesy of Little Moir's Food Shack, drinks and an exclusive, behind-the-gate tour to meet current sea turtle patients. Once a nesting loggerhead sea turtle is found and begins her egg-laying process, our group will be led down to the beach to witness this unforgettable experience.

Tickets are $17 per person. Don't wait to register, space is limited to the first 30 people. The event is limited to guests 8 years old and up.
