Workshop - How to: Use Research To Promote Your Online Identity

Monday, October 2, 2017 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Have you ever Googled yourself? Managing your online identity is becoming more important as students develop in their academic and professional careers. Awareness of your professional online identity and understanding the perception of future employers and graduate school admission committees have of your online presence is just the first step. The focus of this workshop is social searching and actively integrating yourself into the conversations with leading researchers and trends in your field of study.
