Lincoln Memorial University- DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine Visit to UCF

Thursday, November 9, 2017 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Lincoln Memorial University- DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine will be visiting UCF campus on Thursday, November 9th, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. We seek to attract and train future medical practitioners to serve the needs of the southern Appalachian region. Additionally, we hope to address the looming national crisis in health care, created by a rapidly-expanding population, by adding highly-qualified physicians to underserved communities. We seek to achieve these goals by recruiting bright, hard-working applicants whose goal is to advance the science and art of medicine in these locations. It is our firm conviction that our graduates will be lifelong learners who will become leaders in their fields of endeavor and within their communities.

At LMU-DCOM students will receive a rigorous, demanding and rewarding medical education in a new, state-of-the-art facility by faculty who are national leaders in the profession with several decades of experience. The curriculum is a didactic, systems-based approach to learning based on the current state of the ever-expanding knowledge base. Our students will contribute to our exploration of the cutting edge of medicine.

During our visit, we hope to answer any questions prospective medical students have about the application process, LMU-DCOM's curriculum, and Osteopathic Medicine in general.
