A Conversation with Amberin Zaman 

Amberin Zaman is a columnist for Al-Monitor's Turkey Pulse who has covered Turkey, the Kurds and Armenia for The Washington Post, The Daily Telegraph, The Los Angeles Times and the Voice of America. She served as The Economist's Turkey correspondent between 1999 and 2016. She was a Public Policy Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars in Washington D.C. from January 2016 to May 2017. She recently visited Kurdish areas in both Iraq and Syria.

This is one of the events organized by the Kurdish Political Studies Program in collaboration with UCF Global Perspectives featuring speakers on Kurdish and Middle Eastern issues.
