2018 Martin Luther King Jr. Parade

Saturday, January 13, 2018 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was an integral part of the Civil Rights Movement, which laid the foundation for the equality of treatment and opportunity enjoyed in America and around the world today.

The theme for the 2018 parade celebration is

“Remember, Celebrate, Act! King's His Voice, His Teaching and His Love for humanity.”

The Multicultural Student Center (MSC), LEAD Scholars Academy, VUCF and Black Faculty and Staff Association are partnering together to gather students interested in walking in the Martin Luther King Jr. Parade, Saturday, January 13, 2018, 10 AM.

Transportation will be provided to all students who register. In addition, two poster-making events will take place at the LEAD Scholars Office January 11 and 12th 3PM-5PM.
