The World of Water: How Do We Fit? (Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering) – A multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving is key for future development in a highly-specified world. Rather than just exposing students to knowledge as rigidly divided subjects, it is crucial to enhance their understanding of how to approach a subject matter from many different directions. In this light, we are planning a one-week day camp for middle-school students, exploring the subject of water from the perspective of physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, mathematics and other important disciplines. The workshop will run from 9am to 5pm Monday-Friday, and will concentrate on short-term instructions followed by fun hands-on activities and experiments.
