WUCF's BE MY NEIGHBOR DAY

Saturday, February 17, 2018 noon to 3 p.m.

WUCF kicks off a year of celebrations honoring the 50th anniversary of Mister Rogers Neighborhood with the fourth annual “Be My Neighbor Day” in Winter Park.

This popular family event returns to Winter Park in February, bringing with it fun and educational activities for the whole family presented by WUCF TV, the Winter Park History Museum and the city of Winter Park as part of the city’s Weekend of the Arts celebration.

Join us Saturday, Feb. 17 in Winter Park’s Central Park from noon to 3 p.m. WUCF will host family-friendly activities themed around being a good neighbor. The Winter Park History Museum will provide educational panels on the life and legacy of the late Fred Rogers. Guests will also have an opportunity to meet Daniel Tiger, star of the PBS KIDS program, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.  Families can enjoy performances by Mr. Richard (Richard Peeles) and fun exercises with Ms. Kelsey (Kelsey Evans) of WUCF’s Happy Healthy Kids series along with new activities and photo opportunities. The event is free.
