Rockets to Toilets: Aerospace Engineer, Water Conservation CEO is Duke Energy Symposium Keynote

"Rockets to Toilets: A Commentary on Renewable Energy and Water Conservation" will be the keynote presentation by Doug Guidish, '07, UCF aerospace engineering alumnus and founder/CEO of Gaurd Dog Valves, at the Duke Energy Symposium on Renewable and Sustainable Technology.

After working in the defense industry and medical industry, Doug and his father started the company Guard Dog Valves, with a mission to reduce the significant amount of water that is lost to leaking toilets with innovative, cost-efficient products. A number of his company's products are designed with the help of UCF engineering senior design teams.
