Guest Artist Recital: Cameron Leach, percussion

American percussionist Cameron Leach is a dynamic performer and educator championing new music through high-energy performances and collaborations. An accomplished soloist and chamber musician, he has toured across the United States, Canada, and throughout Europe. He presents clinics and workshops internationally, engaging a variety of audiences on topics related to both concert and marching percussion, exploration of contemporary music for young students, and early-stage career development. Cameron’s recent highlights include the debut of his new solo show (ELISION), the world premiere of Paul Lansky’s Metal Light for the Percussive Arts Society, a performance of Jennifer Higdon’s Percussion Concerto with the Eastman Wind Ensemble and several concerts with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra as a substitute percussionist. He has appeared at such fine institutions as the Royal Danish Academy of MusicRoyal Northern College of MusicSibelius AcademyNorwegian Academy of Music and many more.
