Whitewater Rafting and Hiking

Friday, March 29, 2019 midnight

Known as the longest urban whitewater rafting in the world, the Chattahoochee River in Columbus, GA is most often described to be as "Wild as Colorado and Warm as Costa Rica". This is a 2.5 mile, man-made run which offers the perfect combination of fun and adventure that is unlike anything else on the east coast! After a day of whitewater excitement, we will spend the rest of our trip hiking in Providence Canyon State Park, dubbed as the "Little Grand Canyon" because of its steep-sided, colorful canyons of carved sandstone.

How do I sign up? Registration is *only* in person on a first-come, first-served basis at the Outdoor Adventure Center (on the bottom floor of the Recreation and Wellness Center) during the OAC's open hours.
