Black Bear Wilderness Trail is a new hiking location in the community that provides a 7.1-mile loop along the St. Johns River. This hike is mostly shaded and overlooks marshes, canals, and occasional views of the river. Participants will hike through a combination of sturdy boardwalks and forested sections with tricky roots and steep drop-offs, something unique to Florida hiking.
