In this interactive workshop facilitated by the Student Accessibility Services’ team, participants will learn more about the history of disability rights, the difference between disability and environmental barriers, and our role in creating access for disabled people. Inclusive language for disability will also be discussed. Participants will come away with practical ways to begin making their offices more accessible. This session is a redesigned version of our previous barriers workshop and will be informative and relevant for anyone who did or did not attend our previous version.
