Wellness and Health Promotion Services will be providing FREE HIV testing on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, from 10am-2pm in honor of National LatinX AIDS Awareness Day. The LatinX community has been disproportionally affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic since the 1990’s. Nationally, efforts are being made to highlight this and get individuals tested. UCF and WHPS have joined those efforts and will be providing risk reduction counseling and contraceptives for FREE as well during the event. It is time to get tested and get educated. We hope to have a greater number of LatinX individuals receive a free rapid HIV test than in previous years.
