How to create a list of achievements for your students to meet – this idea plays off the video-game feel of achieving rewards after completing tasks/quests; the achievements are not required/graded but would complement learning; rewards range from “add 5% to a quiz” to “you get to sit in the beanbag for a class period”; this encourages students to be self-motivated and gives them a sense of accomplishment and healthy competition
