LGBT+ Center Orlando, Inc. and the LGBTQ History Museum of Central Florida partnered to create a permanent museum at The Center. The museum's first display, The History of Orlando’s LGBT+ Center will be a retrospect of the 40-year history of The Center, which promotes and empowers the LGBT community and its allies through information, education, advocacy and support.
History faculty memebers, Dr. Rosalind Beiler and Dr. Connie Lester, serve on the LGBTQ History Museum of Central Florida Board. Two alumna, Erin Shreeve and Carter Shine are also on the Board.
