The Yellow Ribbon Project is a community art movement that involves “Fiber Bombing” trees with yellow cord/ribbon. The goal of the project is to create awareness of veterans’ homelessness. Community artist, Macramé Momma will lead a ribbon knotting session for volunteer groups and organizations.

The original project is curated by Art & History Museums – Maitland in conjunction with its current exhibition, Solider's Home: Veterans' Art in Central Florida, which closes on January 6, 2019. This one-day event at the UCF campus is made possible in collaboration with the UCF Community Veterans History Project and the Veterans Academic Resource Center.

A donation drive to collect non-perishable food, clothing and toiletry items will also take place.
