Pre-Trip Date & Time: Wednesday, June 10, at 6 p.m.

Trip Description: Cool off with a day at Blue Spring State Park, home to one of Florida's largest springs and a beloved summer swimming hole. We'll hike the park's shaded trails and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear 72°F spring waters. It's the perfect way to beat the Florida summer heat while exploring one of the state's most beautiful natural areas. 

What's Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including day packs), transportation to/from the activity and professional guidance by Outdoor Adventure trip leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders. 

What's Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing (swimsuits or dry fit clothing), appropriate footwear (shoes that fit closely to your feet and can get wet) and bring personal water/snacks. A full packing list will be provided at the pre-trip meeting. 

Tentative Itinerary (time and activities are subject to change): 

• 7:30 a.m. – Arrive at Outdoor Adventure Center and travel to Blue Spring State Park

• 9 a.m. – Arrive at Blue Spring and begin hike 

• 10:30 a.m.–2 p.m. – Swim in Blue Spring 

• 2:30 p.m. – Load up and travel back to UCF 

• 4 p.m. – Arrive at Outdoor Adventure Center and debrief

Trip Description: Paddle into the dark and watch the water glow! The Indian River Lagoon near Titusville is one of the best places in the world to experience bioluminescence — a natural phenomenon where microorganisms light up brilliant blue-green with every stroke of your paddle. This magical evening trip is unlike anything else Outdoor Adventure (OA) offers and is guaranteed to leave you speechless. 

What's Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including kayaks, paddles, and PFDs), transportation to/from the activity and professional guidance by OA trip leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders. 

What's Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing and appropriate footwear, and bring personal dinner/water/snacks. Meals are not provided. A full packing list will be provided at the pre-trip meeting.

Pre-Trip Date & Time: Monday, July 13, at 6 p.m. 

Trip Description: Trade the Florida flatlands for mountain trails and wild ridges on this multi-day Appalachian Adventure! First, we will head to Tumbling Rock Cave Preserve to explore a magical world under the Earth’s surface. We will spend about five hours exploring Tumbling Rock Cave, so expect lots of physical exercise, climbing and navigating a whole new world. Then, on Sunday, we'll head to Benton, Tennessee, to go whitewater rafting on the famous Ocoee River. Expect scenic overlooks, challenging trails, camping under the stars and great company. This is one of Outdoor Adventure (OA)'s most coveted summer escapes. 

What's Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including camping gear and backpacks), transportation to/from the activity, and professional guidance by OA trip leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders. Meals will be provided on this trip. All menus will take dietary restrictions/preferences and allergies into account. Occasionally, groups will eat at restaurants while traveling. These meals are not included in your trip cost. Your trip leaders will inform you of any meals not included in the trip price. 

What's Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing (including clothing that can get muddy/dirty and a swimsuit), appropriate footwear (hiking boots and water shoes that fit tightly to your feet), and bring personal water/snacks. A full packing list will be provided at the pre-trip meeting.

• Hike a local trail 

• Whitewater raft on the Ocoee 

• Camp at Thunder Rock Campground  

Monday, July 20 

• Pack up camp and travel back to UCF 

• Arrive at UCF late evening
