While data has been readily available for business decision making for more than three decades, the landscape has changed exponentially with the emergence of Big Data. Information is now generated at an unprecedented rate in large part due to the rise of consumer generated content through social networks. With globalization, mass customization, and the competition for a changing customer, it is essential to develop a more robust and integrated system for collecting, organizing, and analyzing this data. The use of data analytics for decision making can help your business or organization succeed in this new environment. Dr. Joshi, associate professor of marketing in the UCF College of Business, will provide insight and concepts for leaders to apply in their business strategies to make better decisions and create better outcomes.
