Need data for a briefing or a report? Trying to find information on grades, retention, or SCH for your college or department? Learn how to find data, reports and other information for your college, department, or class in the Pegasus Mine Information Portal. All full-time faculty and staff have access to a wealth of current and trend data in the Pegasus Mine Portal that can be used for planning, decision-making, grant applications, etc. Institutional Knowledge Management (IKM) is offering two workshops this term for interested full-time faculty and staff to learn what's available in the Pegasus Mine Information Portal and how it can be used! In the hands-on sessions, an overview of the portal will be provided and then the rest of the time will be used for attendees to explore Pegasus Mine and have questions answered by the IKM team.

Protect against tuition increases next year by joining me and your fellow Knights in advocating for student interest. On February 27th from 10 am to 2pm on the front patio of the UCF Student Union the Division of Governmental Affairs of UCF SGA will be sending Black and Gold postcards to Governor Rick Scott asking for his support in fighting against tuition increases.

Interested is becoming the next President/Vice President of your Student Government Association? UCF's SGA has been active for 44 years and now oversees an 18.8 million dollar budget. If you are thinking about running in the Spring 2013 Presidential Election you must attend one information session hosted by the SGA Election Commission. Students who are interested in campaigning during the Spring Election are also highly encouraged to attend. The Election Commission will be covering the requirements to become SGA President/Vice President, important dates, what to expect during the election period, and all rules and regulations according to the SGA Election Statutes. The Sports and Exercise Science Club is proud to present the first annual Gator Pong Tournament! This fun filled event will be exciting and will consist of a healthy dose of competition as well. This "paint the town red" bash will have music for entertainment, a raffle will be drawn and prizes will be given. The winner of the tournament will receive the coveted award of being the first individual to be inducted into our Gator Pong hall of fame and a first place trophy will be provided to our lucky winner! This event will take place at Memory Mall on February 27, 2013. So, sharpen up your hand-eye coordination skills and be prepared to have a fun and entertaining time at the first annual “Gator Pong” experience.

Petitions for the Spring 2013 Presidential Elections can be picked up from the Student Government Association Office (SU 214) starting Monday, February 18 at 9AM. Completed packets must be turned in during Declaration of Candidacy. Packets must be completely filled out and contain 500 valid UCF student signatures.
