Knowing Homelessness: An Interactive Panel Discussion

Tuesday, November 17, 2015 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Homelessness isn't just a person living on the streets anymore. In Central Florida, many people move into and out of homelessness due to issues ranging from job loss to substance abuse. Within the homeless population there are many different groups, and one that is often less commonly recognized is college students. What about students who are homeless while at UCF? Join us for a panel discussion about very topical issues framing homelessness in the Central Florida community and a close look at the experiences, resources, and current efforts to meet the challenges of student homelessness at UCF. Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food items or linens that will benefit the Knights Helping Knights Pantry or the White Linen Project. Please RSVP on Knight Connect https://goo.gl/LJ6hhX and contact Paul at gsa_president@ucf.edu with any questions.
