Please join the Microsoft Security Team for an interactive security discussion. The Microsoft team will discuss the latest security trends affecting the industry and why it is essential for students and upcoming professionals to think more about security. The discussion would focus on a fun interactive learning game around security vulnerabilities and how they relate to the day to day job of a security analyst and a developer in real life. The Microsoft team will also discuss interviewing best practices for young professionals.
Speakers: Mohit Saxena and Talhah Mir
Mohit Saxena is a Sr. PM Manager with the Informat...ion Security and Risk Management Team in Microsoft that is responsible for securing all of Microsoft’s assets and provide best practices guidance and advisory to customers from Microsoft IT learnings.
Talhah Mir is a Principal PM Manager with the Information Security and Risk Management group that leads a team of application security engineers focused on driving core application security programs including SDL as well as related security controls including automated static and dynamic analysis testing.
Attendance is limited to the first 70 people due to the size of HEC 117.
