Knights on the Go Cafe Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Monday, February 1, 2016 11 a.m. to noon

Join us for the opening of the Knights on the Go café, a unique rehabilitation effort for individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) hosted by the Physical Therapy Program in partnership with Aramark. The café offers an innovative and immersive opportunity for individuals with motor impairments that incorporates both physical and vocation rehabilitation.

The ceremony will be hosted by Cole Galloway, founder of revolutionary mobility solutions for children and adults. The Knights on the Go café is equipped with a frictionless multi-directional movement support frame. Physical Therapy Program participants use the frame while conducting business with customers. The frame helps prevent participants from falling while working at the café.

The first participant from the University of Delaware’s Go Baby Go Café will be in attendance as well as UCF’s first participants, Diana and Anthony.
