Founders' Day Honors Convocation 2016

Wednesday, April 6, 2016 10 a.m. to noon

All staff and faculty are invited to celebrate faculty who have demonstrated excellence in service to our students and the university at this year's Founders' Day Honors Convocation from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, April 6, in the Pegasus Ballroom of the Student Union.

This annual convocation recognizes faculty members for outstanding teaching, advising, research, professional service, and librarianship. This includes recognition of UCF Reach for the Stars Award recipients, for their highly successful early-career research and creative activity, and Pegasus Professor Award recipients, for receiving UCF's highest honor of excellence.

Members of our faculty who have completed 20, 30, 40, and 45 years of service and those who recently retired or will be retiring soon will also be recognized for their dedicated service.

In addition, eleven students who have demonstrated exceptional ability in a particular area of study and four Honors in the Major students who have written the most outstanding theses will be recognized for their achievements.

I hope to see you at this year's celebration, recognizing the excellence for our faculty and students. If you have any questions about this event, please contact Shannon O'Donoghue at shannon.odonoghue@ucf.edu or 407-823-6313.
