UCF Bike Week 2016: Bike to UCF Day

Wednesday, March 23, 2016 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Bike to UCF Day
Changing the culture of commuting to campus for school or work has tremendous sustainability benefits for UCF. Biking, walking, carpooling, taking a shuttle or public transportation are all ways to travel in a more sustainable way. Incorporating the physical activity of biking can have tremendous health benefits as well. For every biker that heads to campus, that's one less car on the road and less congestion and traffic. Not to mention a reduction in the carbon emissions that automobiles produce. We encourage all bicycle owners (or borrowers) to safely commute to and through campus on Wednesday. Share your commute with us by using the hashtag #BikeUCF so we can see the collective benefit! Participants will earn a prizes for participating including t-shirts, helmets and more!
