Celebrate UCF’s trees!
Join Landscape & Natural Resources (LNR) and Arboretum staff in planting, celebrating, and educating about UCF’s diverse tree canopy and beautiful campus natural lands.

This year’s event will feature one of Florida’s beautiful native trees, the red maple, Acer rubrum. Please join us in planting red maples around the pond near the Alumni Center on Thursday, March 17th and learn about the many environmental, and aesthetic benefits of trees.

12:30 – 1:30 p.m. UCF Arboretum trailer – Walking tree tour (meet at Arboretum Office)
1:30 – 3 p.m. Tree planting at pond in front of Garage H – Tree planting at Alumni Center pond (near Garage H)
3 – 4 p.m. Pizza - Pizza at the Lake Claire Pavilion
4 – 5 p.m. Tour – Guided hike of Lake Claire Loop Trail

In addition to the tree planting, the event will include walking tours of the campus landscapes and Arboretum Natural Lands, free food, and a tree giveaway. We hope to see you there!
