This Regional Leadership Development Conference (RLDC) is held every year by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) in order to increase the professional and leadership skills of engineering students from the different regions throughout the nation.
This year, students SHPE chapters across Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas are coming to UCF to participate in corporate tours, leadership/professional development workshops, industry speakers, research symposium, ceremonial gala, and networking events.
As hosts, the SHPE UCF chapter is coordinating undergraduate, graduate, professional, and pre-college tracks during the conference. Several engineering companies in Central Florida and around the United States are either sponsors and/or also participating in the culminating career fair.
