Political science associate professor Peter Jacques, Ph.D., will discuss the core principles of sustainability from his latest book, "Sustainability: The Basics." He will highlight the key trends in both ecological systems and global governance that call the human prospect into questions. Options for an exit strategy will be discussed.
Jacques is the co-Director of the Florida Climate Institute at UCF, and the managing executive editor of the Journal of Environmental Studies and Sciences. He is the author of five books on the sustainability, the oceans, and on the public meaning of the denial of environmental science.
