Cal Jackson is the Director of Tech Data’s Global Diversity & Inclusion program. He is also a certified NTL Diversity Practitioner. Cal is most known in the Diversity and Inclusion community for his design, development, and delivery of engaging and thought-provoking cultural competence workshops. Topics include generations, gender, lookism, self-awareness, discrimination, bias, classism and enhancing the cultural competence of managers. 

Many Diversity & Inclusion events have requested Cal’s expertise, such as the Forum on Workplace Inclusion, the Conference Board, the National Association of Black Accountants, and the National Diversity Council Conference.

Cal has been an advocate for social justice through his many associations which include the board of directors of the Florida Diversity Council, Hispanic Institute for Life & Learning, Northeast FL United Negro College Fund Advisory Board, and he formed a cohort of D&I practitioners in Tampa Bay.

Previous vocations include television news reporter, press secretary for Atlanta Mayor Young and a Sr. Operations Manager for MCI, Prudential, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of FL. Cal says he’s Blessed by his 28 year marriage to USFSP professor, Dr. Sandra Jackson and by his daughters; one a sailor in the U.S. Navy and the other a junior at FL Gulf Coast University.
