UCF Student Solidarity Sleep Out for Covenant House

Monday, November 14, 2016 8:30 p.m. to Tuesday, November 15 at 8 a.m.

The Solidarity Sleep Out is an opportunity for people to take action and let the world know that we will not stand by quietly while young people go homeless and hungry in the United States. By committing to sleeping outside for just one night you will take an active part in a national movement to end youth homelessness in the United States while raising money that will go directly to helping youth who are homeless.

On November 14th, UCF students and faculty will be spending the night outside at Lake Claire, to raise awareness about and funds for homeless young people. They will be experiencing a tiny bit of what it is like to be homeless, sleeping in cardboard boxes or sleeping bags at Lake Claire. The money raised will support Covenant House.
Non-perishable food items will be collected and donated to UCF Knights Pantry benefiting UCF Students.

Socks will be collected and donated to Covenant House.
