Dinner and a Movie

Thursday, November 17, 2016 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Join us for a cooking demo and a screening of the documentary Food Stamped. The cooking demo, led by Wellness and Health Promotion Services, is an interactive experience that teaches students about healthy food options and how to prepare a healthy meal. All attendees will be able to enjoy the delicious food that is prepared during the cooking demo! Following the cooking demo we will begin the screening of Food Stamped. This documentary provides a look at the challenge of trying to eat well on a food-stamp budget. Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation of non-perishable food items that will benefit the Knights Helping Knights Pantry.
