Behind The Veil Women's Cultural Event

Monday, November 14, 2016 6:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.

Location: VAB 113 This event is an educational presentation on the diversity of the women who wear the hijab. The sisters of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated want you to learn about the significance of the hijab to those who wear it as a symbol of choice and have the opportunity to ask questions from two members of the Muslim Student Association at UCF who will share their experiences. It is an event you do not want to miss. We will even have a tutorial on how to wear a hijab if you’ve ever been curious as to how it is worn and clear up any misconceptions or stereotypes associated with women who wear the hijab.
