National High School Choral Festival

Thursday, April 11, 2024 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

This event is part of UCF Celebrates the Arts 2024.

A legacy of inspiration takes center stage! Get ready for a once-in-lifetime event: the National High School Choral Festival honors Dr. David Brunner, UCF professor emeritus and retired Director of Choral Activities. This festival is a vibrant tapestry of youthful talent and music excellence, woven together in appreciation for Dr. Brunner’s profound impact on countless young singers. Dr. Brunner’s dedication to choral music spanned decades, nurturing UCF’s choirs and inspiring countless high school singers through workshops, clinics and guest conducting, including during the formative years of UCF Celebrates the Arts. Reconnect with Dr. Brunner as he works with guest choirs and combines them in a Mass choir featuring some of his works!

The day of workshops will conclude with a public performance at 7:30 p.m.
