A post animal bio-economy is coming. Learn more about the future of our planet and your role in it from Kristopher Gasteratos, president of the Cellular Agriculture Society. Friday April 21st at 6:00pm in PSY108.
"The Cellular Agriculture Academic Society (CAAS) is an educationally based community concerned with the societal, ethical, nutritional, economic, and ecological implications of a widespread adoption of Cellular Agriculture this century. The novelty of this organization, is not only is it the first of its kind at FAU, this state, or even the United States, but through collaboration with a select few universities like UC Berkeley and MIT, CAAS is the first student organization in the world focused on the topic of cellular agriculture. This is of particular importance considering the high likelihood that cellular agriculture will play significant roles within human civilization in the near future. Our society’s assembly seeks advocacy and enlightenment of such possibilities through backed scientific literature, in addition to logical, cogent arguments. The CAAS Chapter at FAU is an organization which aspires to provide a welcoming community to all of those interested in learning about this biotechnology which has the immense potential to benefit our world and all who live on it." - FAU About Page
