Sitting Volleyball is one of our Adaptive Rec Sports. It is featured in the Paralympic Games, and can be played by students of all abilities. - This one day tournament will be held on November 1st from approximately 11:30AM -4:00pm on Courts 1 & 2 of the Recreation and Wellness Center.

Sitting Volleyball Promotional Video - Sitting volleyball follows the same rules as its non-disabled counterpart with a few modifications to accommodate the various disabilities. In sitting volleyball, the net is about 3.5 feet high, and the court is 10 x 6 meters with a two-meter attack line. Players are allowed to block serves, but one portion of the blockers bottom must be in contact with the floor whenever they make contact with the ball. Teams are made up of six players that will be seated on the ground. Players can substitute in and out after each point.
- The tournament will start with players playing pool play matches to help in the seeding process. After the pool play matches are completed players will be placed into a single elimination tournament.
Currently Enrolled UCF Students are eligible to participate in Intramural Sports. All Students listed on your team roster will be verified. A/P and USPS Full-Time Faculty and Staff at UCF may participate in Intramural Sports by purchasing an RWC Membership BEFORE playing in their first game.description provided.
