The RWC and Multicultural Student Center are presenting a three part program to allow students to experience various cultural dances. In part two of the series, experience various styles of African Dance. Within traditional African culture, the act of a dance is most often linked to celebration of life, but also to tell stories, teach morals and values, and to give thanks for a bountiful harvest. Experience the sound of the African drum, commonly used in this dance style. The drum is often seen as a sign of vitality and life and is considered the heartbeat of the tribe or village. Come join the MSC and RWC to dance to the heartbeat of the UCF Knights. This event is first come first serve, there is no sign up necessary. Make sure to bring your student ID and water.
