UCF Alumni: Oyster Restoration Service Project

Saturday, October 11, 2014 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
You're
invited to join the UCF College of Sciences Alumni Chapter to assist
with UCF Biology Department's efforts to restore degraded shorelines and
oyster reefs.






For this volunteer event on UCF campus, volunteers will prepare
materials for future deployments to the Indian River Lagoon, as well as
plant/transplant mangroves an marshgrass, and create oyster restoration
mates.






Don't forget to wear casual black & gold clothing and closed toed shoes that are okay to get dirty.
