Public Lecture: Planning, Health and Poverty - Understanding the Connections

UCF's Urban and Regional Planning Distinguished Lecture Series continues in 2014-15 with three lectures focused on "Planning, Health and Poverty - Understanding the Connections." The lectures are free and open to the public.

The first distinguished lecturer is Anna Ricklin, manager of the Planning and Community Health Research Center at the American Planning Association in Washington, D.C. Her lecture will focus on strategies to improve the health of community residents and to mitigate the impacts of poverty on the health of a community.

The lecture will be held Nov. 12, 6:30 to 9 p.m., at the Werner Auditorium, Florida Hospital, 601 East Rollins Street, Orlando.
