Female Entrepreneurship Success Secrets

When Beyonce asked “who runs the world?” the answer of “girls” was obvious but there are specific building blocks to being a successful female entrepreneur that you just can’t ignore. This workshop will be led by successful female entrepreneur Julie Colombino and will be focused on showing female students how to succeed as an employee or entrepreneur.

Julie Colombino is the Founder and CEO of REBUILD globally, a nonprofit organization, that focuses on social entrepreneurship in order to provide dignified, living wage employment in Haiti. They now proudly employ dozens of survivors of the 2010 Haiti earthquake to make beautiful, high-quality recycled tire sandals in Haiti.

Through their endeavors, children are reunited with their families, mothers are able to provide safe housing and education for themselves and their children and dignity is restored in the community in which they work. They sell sandals locally and wholesale internationally and 100% of proceeds supports their programs and endeavors to restore pride and unify families.
