This event features accomplished health geographer, Valerie Crooks, Ph.D. She is an associate professor at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada. She is the newly appointed Canada Research Chair in Health Service Geographies and holds a Scholar Award from the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research. Much of her current research is focused on the global health service practice of medical tourism.
