workshop for Elementary and Middle School Science Teachers! Bringing
Light to STEM Teacher Workshop Wednesday

University of Central Florida CREOL,
The College of Optics and Photonics at the University of Central
Florida, holds this workshop for teachers on the Light Blox activity kit
developed by the Optical Society (OSA). The workshop includes content on
the basics of waves, light, and optics that are correlated to the Florida
Science State Standards. Mike McKee will conduct the workshop.
Each
teacher will receive 3 kits and preference will be given to those teachers who
have two from a single school so that each school can receive 6 kits.
Each teacher will receive a free teachers manual of light based
activities and a set of 10 diffraction gratings. Contact Mike McKee at
