Department Law Enforcement Showcase

OPD is Hiring
Students from all Majors; Come Learn About Careers in Law Enforcement

Did you know that the Orlando Police Department (OPD) is
hiring students for a variety of positions in law enforcement. There are two
ways that you can learn more about opportunities at OPD and network with OPD’s
recruiting team:

Equipment Showcase (Near the
Memory Mall Flagpole; 12-2pm & 4-5pm):

Stop by for a few minutes to see OPD’s high-tech police equipment, including
their SWOT, HAZMAT, CSI, and Crisis Negotiation Vehicles. Learn more about
employment opportunities by talking to officers representing a variety of
functions within OPD.

Careers in Law Enforcement
Panel/Forum (Classroom Building II, Room 106; 2-4pm):
Members of OPD will
provide an inside look at their Department, discuss career opportunities,
provide strategies that will help you during your recruitment journey, and
answer your questions. Panelists will represent a variety of functions,
including Crime Scene Investigations, Crisis Negotiations, and HAZMAT.

This
event is open to all UCF students and alumni. OPD hires students from a variety
of majors. No RSVP is needed. OPD, UCF Career Services, Lambda Alpha Epsilon,
and Alpha Phi Sigma invite you to stop by the equipment showcase and attend the
panel/forum. Questions can be directed to Neal Robinson (neal.robinson@ucf.edu; 407-823-1726). Read More
