Join fellow Palm Beach AlumKnights for a special Knight with endangered sea turtles!
Turtle Walks are a unique program that allow UCF alumni to learn about and observe the nesting and egg-laying process of an endangered Loggerhead sea turtle. Experienced Loggerhead Marinelife Center scouts will patrol a designated section of Juno Beach searching for sea turtles while Knights enjoy an informative presentation on ocean conservation and the plight of sea turtles, and an exclusive, behind-the-gate tour to meet Loggerhead Marinelife Center's current sea turtle patients. Once a nesting Loggerhead sea turtle is found and begins her egg-laying process, the group will be led down to the beach to witness this unforgettable experience while narrated by a volunteer.
Because of the popularity from last year's event, two UCF alumni Turtle Walks have been secured: Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 11 both starting at 8:45 p.m.
Tickets are $17 per person, and this event is limited to guests 18 years old and up. Space is limited to the first 30 people to register for each date.
