Seminar Series: Psychological Strategies for Making Healthy Behavioral Changes

Wednesday, November 5, 2014 noon to 1 p.m.
Ever wondered why some people are successful at making behavioral changes like dieting and giving up cigarettes, while others struggle with the same issues over and over again? This session will provide valuable insight into common obstacles that often stand in our way—from stress and self-doubt to career and family obligations. We’ll also discuss how to reframe our unsuccessful attempts at change and uncover the internal motivations needed to finally achieve success.

This session will be led by Jonathan Mitchell, M.A., M.S., a Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology at UCF. Jonathan also is a clinical partner at UCF Pegasus Health, where he counsels patients in need of making healthy behavioral changes.

There is no cost to attend. Space is limited, so please register HERE. Read More
