Seminar Series: Preparing to Care for Aging Parents

Monday, November 17, 2014 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
As we age, the role of caregiver is often transferred from parent to adult child. Before you’re in this situation, find out what you need to know while there’s still time to make plans that align with your parents’ wishes. This seminar will touch on guardianships and conservatorships, the psychological trauma of downsizing a home and relinquishing control, long-term care options, strategies for balancing your busy life and theirs and more.

This session will be led by Daniel Paulson, Ph.D., a faculty member in the UCF Department of Psychology who leads a caregiver support group at UCF Pegasus Health.

There is no cost to attend. Space is limited, so please register HERE Read More
